Aurora Borealis Itinerary for basic tour package in Whitehorse, Yukon

Day 1

We'll welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your Hotel in downtown Whitehorse. The hotel is located within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants, banks and stores. Information meeting and registration for optional tours at the hotel. Fitting of winter clothing, time for shopping and dinner on your own. 09:30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. A cozy, heated cabin or wall tent with hot drinks and snacks makes your Aurora viewing even more enjoyable. Return to hotel around 2.00 am.Day 2

Sleep in the morning.10.30 am city tour with Main Street, Train Depot of the White Pass and Yukon Route, Log Skyscraper, Log Church, Sternwheeler SS Klondike, Fish ladder, Schwatka Lake and some residential areas. Afternoon optional tour. 09.30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. Again, in a warm-up cabin hot drinks and snacks are provided. You may sit around a roaring fire and share stories. Return to hotel around 2.00 am.

Day 3(and Day 4)

Morning at your leisure. Afternoon optional tour. 09.30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. Return to hotel around 2.00 am.

Day 4 (or Day 5)

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Tours start on a daily basis / minimum 2 people from 1st of September 2010 until middle of April 2011.
