Cancellation Policy
1. Reservation and Payment For Multi Day Tours
We take reservations via phone or internet. We will e-mail our reservation form. For
multi day tours: To safely secure your spot on the tour we ask for a down payment of $ 500
CAD which is due within 10 days of confirmed reservation which otherwise will be cancelled
without any further notice. Once receiving the down payment a legal contract is valid. Full
payment is due 30 days prior to tour departure. This can be done by Credit card on the phone
or on the online booking system we wil email you.
Currency is in Canadian Dollars and GST is 5%.
2. Cancellation For Multi Day Tours
A) Cancellation from guest: If guest cancels the trip the following fees will be in effect:
• Cancellation more than 90 days before tour: 50% of Deposit refund
• Cancellation 30 to 90 days before tour: no refund of deposit
• Cancellation 29 to 14 days before tour: pay 50% of total tour cost
• Cancellation 14 to 7 days before tour: pay 75% of total tour cost
• Cancellation less than 6 days before tour: pay 90% of total tour cost
B) Cancellation from Sky High Valley Ranches Ltd: Full refund. No other claims to Sky High
Valley Ranches Ltd possible. All payments will be taken through the office and an email
receipt sent.
3. For day tours/activities:
A) For Groups of 1-6 persons: 25% deposit due upon booking. Final Payment is due the 5 days
prior to tour departure. Cancellation policy: Full refund of deposit if cancelled 14 days prior.
. Cancellation within 10-14 days no refund
of total tour cost. The credit card used for deposit will also be used for final payment and if
applicable, refunds. All payments for a weekend tour will be taken the Friday prior.
B) For groups of 6 - 10 persons the following applies: a 25% non refundable deposit due
upon booking. Final Payment is due 2 weeks prior to tour departure. Full refund of deposit if
cancelled 30 + days prior. Within 10-30 days cancellation deposit is kept. Cancellation within 10
days no refund of total tour cost. The credit card used for deposit will also be used for final
payment and if applicable, refunds.
4. For Cabin Stay Packages - Including activities:
A) 1-2 nights w activities: 25% deposit due upon booking. Full payment due 7 days prior to
arrival. Cancellation 7-14 days prior no refund of deposit. Cancellation within 7days no refund of
full payment. A cleaning fee of $50 will be charged upon booking and refunded upon departure
if the premises are in good order.
B) 3-7 nights w activities: 25% deposit due upon booking. Full payment is due 30 days prior to
tour departure. Cancellation for Multi Day Tours Applies.
5. For Lodge, Yurt and Cabin Rental:
A) 1-5 nights: 25% deposit due upon booking. Full payment due 7 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation 7-14 days prior no refund of deposit. Cancellation within
payment.
B) For large events and multiple accommodation rentals: Cancellation for multi day
Tours above applies. The credit card used for deposit will also be used for final payment
and to cover any damages incurred during the stay. Damage deposit of $1000 will be
taken at time of booking - refunded after inspection of the premises at end of event.
* All payments will be taken through the office and an email receipt sent.
* All Cabins and lodge are non smoking/no pets. Check in is after 1pm and before 6pm.
Check out 11am. No late check
will apply after 11am. The credit card used for deposit will also be used for final payment
and to cover any damages incurred during the stay.
6. Insurance and Liability
We are fully insured by Avid Insurance
No. 23, however you will be required to sign a release of claims and waiver of liability form upon
arrival for any activities taking place on the premises.
7. NOTE: It is your responsibility to obtain, at your own expense, all documentation
required by Canadian Customs, as well as Travel Insurance.
