Chase the mesmerizing Northern Lights and keep an eye out for majestic wildlife including moose, caribou, and lynx. Our lifestyle tours invite you to immerse yourself in the daily life of a Yukon Musher, participating in caring for your dog team and exploring the breathtaking landscape. Please note, the minimum age for our is 12 years.
Need a ride ?
We can provide round trip transfer for all of our tours for $50 +GST per person. Pick up are from any downtown hotel or hostel (time dependent on the tour you are doing). Or if you want to drive yourself, our Ranch is located approx. 30 minutes drive from downtown Whitehorse on the Fish Lake Road. We are at Km 16 and have a 30' sign by our driveway on the right hand side of the road.
What to bring ?
Winters in the Yukon can mean temperatures as low as -30 Celsius, so it is important to be prepared. We recommend you wear a warm jacket, snow pants, warm base layers, socks, boots, hat, mitts and something to cover your face and ears (Neck warmer or balaclava).
We will provide parkas, snow pants, mitts and boots if yours are not warm enough. There will be plenty of photo opportunities so bring your camera!
Fitness & Safety
Please note that dog sledding is comparable to downhill/ nordic skiing and does require you to be in relatively good physical shape. You have to help the dogs up the hills by running beside the sled at times or push with one foot over smaller hills. A good balance is required to follow sled movements.

All our tours are guided for your safety. Before commencing on any activity, you will be given basic safety instruction and our fully certified guides always travel with a well stocked First Aid Kit on any tour.
